While building access stairs can be helpful for many properties, you must also look at how well you can take something apart and move it around. Sometimes, you could even remove a stair setup from a building without having to take all the steps apart. REDD Team recognizes that some clients have buildings that have to move many times over, which is why we can build portable building access stairs that are easy to set up, remove, and install again.
Our building access stairs can work for portable structures that are often on the move. These buildings include such spaces as portable classrooms, construction office sites, and general work trailers for remote projects. All these buildings have entry points a few feet off the ground, so having portable building access stairs for all these spaces is critical.
A Lightweight Design Makes Transport Easy
REDD Team uses aluminum materials for all its portable building access stairs. Aluminum is naturally lighter than other metals, so you won’t struggle to move all the parts.
The lightweight design even makes it where you don’t have to disassemble the entire stair setup when moving your building. You can remove the layout from the base of the building and then reattach it, although this is recommended when you’re not moving the building too far.
For cases where the building travels further distances, you can disassemble all the parts and put them together again when your building reaches its new destination. The installation process is simple and does not require much work each time.
How Is Everything Attached?
You can connect your entire access stair body to your portable building through a series of bolts or fasteners. You can add the main body of the stairs and a landing to the entry point to that mobile building. This layout means the rest of the stairs can be installed away from the building and then added to that structure at the end. This arrangement provides a simplified approach to handling your structure that fits well.
Does the Design Have To Be Complex
You’ll find the layout for your steps won’t be that complex when you ask us at REDD Team for support. REDD Team will arrange your steps with a few parts, including rails for the sides and a landing in front of the door. Additional guardrails will go along the sides of your landing, providing a barrier that keeps people from falling off. Extra anchors and supports will also appear on the bottom to keep the layout in place.
The number of steps necessary for your stairs will vary based on the length of the layout and how high the steps will go. Most of our access stair layouts require three to five steps. Since each of your steps should only be about seven to nine inches high, you won’t need as many steps as figured, but planning everything well is necessary for success.
