REDD Team Stairs

REDD Team has the stairs that will meet whatever your application may demand. Here’s a brief look at our Universal Stairs and Dura-Grip General Code Stairs.

Universal Stairs

These are built to meet the most stringent industry standards, complying with several building codes. Our stairs not only meet IBC requirements, but also SREF and BOCA. You can use them no matter how difficult the terrain may be, and use them to access building stair towers, scaffolds, trailers and much more. If you ever need to move them, you can easily take them apart and relocate them. Features include:

  • Non-combustible and non-corrosive materials
  • Ease of installation and assembly
  • Continuous, smooth handrails
  • The ability to handle vertical loads of up to 300 pounds
  • ADA-compliant

Dura-Grip Stairs

REDD Team Dura-Grip stairs also comply with IBC codes, as well as ADA requirements. They provide the following features:

  • Self-draining decks
  • Non-slip surfaces
  • Rust-resistant
  • Can be configured in multiple ways
  • Ample landing width (60 inches by 60 inches)

Why Aluminum is the Superior Option

You could purchase stairs made of wood, steel or concrete, of course, but aluminum tops them all. These are just some of the reasons why.

  • Wood will splinter or rot over time unless regularly treated. Aluminum will never pose those risks, because it maintains its structural integrity for years and years.
  • While concrete is very durable, you can’t move stairs made of this material. If you ever have the need to relocate concrete stairs, you’d have to demolish them and get completely new ones.
  • Aluminum is only a third the weight of steel but it’s just as strong. This lighter weight not only makes aluminum easier to install, it also makes it much less expensive.
  • Aluminum also won’t corrode like steel. The reason is it has a layer of natural protection that keeps it looking and performing its best, year after year.
