REDD Team has more than 25 years of experience manufacturing the very best modular aluminum wheelchair ramps available. All of our commercial grade products, including ramps, walkways, stairs and more, come in a wide range of sizes, and can be used for just about any application you can imagine. We have many standard sizes from which to choose, but we can also meet any custom specifications you may have.

Built to Last

Modular Aluminum Wheelchair RampsAluminum is a much more durable material than you may think. Of course, the aluminum you’ll find in a soda can is easy to crush with one hand. But we treat our aluminum with special alloys. As a result, all of our products are incredibly strong – as strong as steel, in fact. Everyone who uses your REDD Team ramp can do so with total confidence, because our products can stand up to whatever challenges are thrown at them.

You’ll find our ramps and other accessibility products in some of the harshest environments in the United States. For example, oil and gas companies routinely turn to us for ramps, stairs and other access products. These products can be found in areas where oil and shale extraction take place on a daily basis. Our ramps have to be able to stand up under the weight of trucks and other equipment. But they can do so easily because they’re so rugged and durable.

If our ramps can handle those kinds of conditions, you can rest assured they’ll be perfect for your school, retail establishment, or any other location.

What Makes Aluminum Better Than Steel, Wood or Concrete?

You’ve probably seen wheelchair ramps made out of many different materials. The most common ones are steel, wood and concrete. Aluminum beats them all – and beats them handily. These are just some of the reasons why that’s the case.

  • Strength – Aluminum weighs only about 30 percent as much as steel. That makes it very easy to move, and also makes it a more cost-effective choice as well. But just because REDD Team aluminum is lightweight, that doesn’t mean you’ll have to sacrifice in other areas, such as strength. Our products are just as strong as steel, and will last even longer.
  • Durability – Steel, of course, will rust or corrode over time, potentially causing a safety risk in the process. Aluminum, on the other hand, has a natural coating of aluminum oxide. This keeps it looking and working its best, long after steel has degraded.
  • No hassles – Wood ramps look great, of course, but you have to coat them regularly. Otherwise, they’ll simply fall apart. Aluminum ramps don’t need any special coating, and they’ll never rot or splinter.
  • Flexibility – If you ever need to move your aluminum ramp for any reason, it will be extremely quick and easy to do so. While concrete is incredibly strong and durable, it’s not nearly as flexible. You’d have to completely demolish a concrete ramp and build a new one if relocation was needed.
