Getting a safe and sturdy platform for your business can make a positive impact. With a quality platform, you can improve how well people can access different spaces around your workplace. You can also add accessible ramps alongside those platforms, improving how well people can get around while meeting accessibility standards. REDD Team will be there to help you get all these ramps and platforms ready for use.

Accessible Ramps and Platforms for BusinessesAt REDD Team, we will help design a ramp and platform layout based on your needs. We will build everything with high-quality aluminum materials and then ship it all off to your property. You can then assemble the setup at your property without requiring additional tools or other items for preparation.

A Safe Surface

We will build your platforms and ramps with safe non-slip surfaces. We use strong aluminum materials that can handle a secure grip without risking skidding or other threats.

Our aluminum materials can also be cut to include added vents and openings to allow rain and other precipitation to go through. This design keeps the ramp and platform from flooding when it rains.

Enough Room For People

You’ll also have plenty of room on your ramp and platform when you ask us at REDD Team for help. Your platform will require a few feet of space on each side to allow people to go through without obstruction. A ramp should also be wide enough to fit a standard wheelchair. You can also get a double-wide ramp that creates two separate lanes for people going in different directions, plus a ramp can go midway through the spot.

Protective Rails

All ramps and platforms require safe rails, and REDD Team can build them for your spot. A ramp will need handrails about 34 to 38 inches in height, which should be enough for people in wheelchairs to handle. The guardrails on a platform can be slightly higher up.

All rails must be capable of handling at least 200 pounds of pressure from any angle. They must have openings that are small enough to keep items four inches in diameter or greater from escaping, providing a safe surface that won’t risk harm.

Aluminum Is the Key To It All

All these features in ramps and platforms are helpful, but the best part is that these items won’t be hard to maintain or clean. We use aluminum in all our installations.

Aluminum is easier to maintain and handle, plus it is not at risk of breaking apart or wearing from regular use. Aluminum can carry more weight than most metals, plus it is lighter in weight. The lightweight design makes it so you can easily carry the parts around for assembly purposes. It’s also easier for us to shape in different forms when you need to complete an installation.

REDD Team will assist you in planning a ramp and platform for your business that is fully accessible and functional. Our effort will work alongside your distinct needs while producing a safe setup that will keep everyone protected. We’re open throughout the year to help people with their ramp needs, so you can contact us at 800-648-3696 or through our website for info on how we can serve you.
